How to farm the Abstract Airdrop ?

For months, the same question keeps coming up everywhere: "How do you earn the maximum amount of XP on @AbstractChain for the potential airdrop?"

The truth is, this isn't a one-week sprint, it's a long-term grind. High-XP accounts didn't get there in three days: they stacked game seasons, events, DeFi, badges, and most importantly, they enjoyed exploring the ecosystem.

This guide has a simple goal: to show you how to farm smartly, without wasting your time on robotic tasks.

Understanding XP: Abstract's "on-chain reputation"

On Abstract, XP (Experience Points) measure how much you contribute to the life of the chain. You earn XP by playing games, using dApps, holding certain tokens or NFTs, streaming, creating content, or unlocking badges.

Everything is tracked in the Abstract Global Wallet (AGW), under the Rewards tab. XP counters are updated once a week, every Tuesday at 6 PM CET. That's when you truly see the impact of your actions: a week of intense gaming, a new LP position on Aborean, a few extra badges… or, on the contrary, a completely inactive week.

XP allows you to progress through different tiers: you start at Bronze, then move to Silver at 10,000 XP, Gold at 100,000 XP, Platinum at 1,000,000 XP, and finally Diamond at 3,000,000 XP.

Reaching Gold is already an important symbolic milestone: from that point on, you can, for example, apply to officially stream on the Abstract portal.

Nothing has been officially confirmed regarding an airdrop, but everyone knows that in this kind of ecosystem, major contributors are rarely forgotten. XP already rewards you today, and potentially positions you better tomorrow for future allocations. If you're only here to click three buttons and disappear, you'll miss the real game.

By the way, if you're still not entirely sure what Abstract is or how the ecosystem works, here's an article that will help you understand everything: Comment s'exposer à l'écosystème Abstract

Bonuses, Roles, and the Snowball Effect

Raw XP doesn't tell the whole story. A significant part of the system relies on multipliers, linked to roles you can obtain on the Abstract Discord based on your level of involvement or your holdings.

On the "Chads" side, for example, you'll find Elite Chad and Graduated Elite Chad, which provide XP boosts of around +12.5% and +25% respectively. At the very top of the pyramid sits the mythical Giga Chad role, offering a massive +75% bonus. This role isn't obtained by filling out a form: it's a recognition granted to people who, week after week, support the ecosystem, create content, energize the community, help others, and give real visibility to Abstract on X, TikTok, Discord, or IRL.

Alongside these "merit-based" roles, there are also bonuses linked to Pudgy Penguins. Being a verified holder of a Pudgy or Lil Pudgys NFT grants an additional boost, in line with how Abstract is gradually integrating the Pudgy community into its reward system.

In practice, all of this creates a snowball effect: the more engaged you are, the more roles you earn, the higher your XP percentage grows each week… and the faster you climb the tiers.

$PENGU & Memecoins: Passive Farming in the Background

A large portion of XP on Abstract also comes from your bags. Memecoins play a central role in the ecosystem provided you stick to serious, verified projects (blue ticker).

A good example is $PENGU. Depending on the size of your bag, you can earn different "Pengu Holder" roles on the Abstract Discord. Thresholds start at 88,888 $PENGU for the first level and increase step by step up to large bagholders with several million tokens. Once your wallet is verified in the dedicated channel, you begin receiving a weekly stream of passive XP tied to that role.

Overall, the algorithm seems to favor long-term holders rather than hyperactive traders. What matters isn't how many transactions you make, but your ability to support a project over time. Some users who simply held a few key memecoins for months now find themselves very well positioned in the XP rankings.

NFTs: Building a Portfolio That Works for You

The other pillar of passive farming is NFTs. From the earliest days of Abstract, part of the community started stacking newly launched collections, sometimes without knowing what would come next. Today, they're often the ones reaping the rewards.

On Abstract, only verified collections count toward XP. You can find them on @OpenSea or @MagicEden, and then simply hold them in your AGW. Many signals suggest that holding duration plays an important role in XP calculations: constantly selling and rebuying the same collection could put you at a disadvantage compared to a patient holder.

Projects like @bearish_af, @onchainheroes, @playgigaverse, @FugzOfficial, @RoachRacingClub, @RuyuiStudios, or @AbstractioGang regularly appear when looking at the wallets of top farmers. Newer projects, especially artist or gaming-related ones, are also starting to distribute XP to their holders.

The idea remains the same: if you believe in the chain long-term, think of your NFT wallet as an asset portfolio you're ready to support across multiple seasons, not as a 24-hour flip casino.

Grinding Leaderboards: Playing Smarter, Not Necessarily Longer

This is probably the most underestimated aspect by those who only think "airdrop": games on Abstract are XP machines if you're actually good at them.

The portal currently hosts many leaderboard-based games: Moody Madness, Roach Racing, Gigaverse, Proof of Play, Spellborne, Riskiiit, @Dyli_io, Khuga Bash, Pengu Clash, SegMint, @AboreanFi, Kona, and many others. Some users manage to earn hundreds of thousands of XP per week simply by staying near the top of these leaderboards.

The best players don't try to do everything. On the contrary, they pick two or three games they truly enjoy, master the mechanics in depth, complete all daily and weekly quests, grind the battle pass, participate in seasonal events, and consistently aim for top placements. On Moody Madness, for example, some spend several hours per day optimizing their runs, running AI agents, and taking part in community tournaments every Tuesday, the impact is clearly visible in their XP totals.

If you genuinely enjoy a game, Abstract literally pays you to be good at it. It's probably the most "natural" way to farm without feeling like you're farming.

DeFi on Kona and Aborean: Yield, XP… and Badges

With the launch of @KonaDeFi followed by AboreanFi, Abstract laid the foundations of its DeFi layer. In practice, you can provide liquidity on major pairs (WETH/PENGU, WETH/ABSTER, WETH/KONA, WETH/ABX, etc.) and earn fees, internal points, and XP.

Users with large capital who position themselves early in the right pools can post massive weeks, sometimes exceeding 400,000 XP. But even with modest capital, simply entering and exiting certain LPs strategically gives you an edge over someone who stays purely in spot.

A dedicated guide for Aborean was published on Abstract Horizon, explaining how to deposit funds, provide liquidity, and withdraw properly to unlock the Aborean LP badge. At the time of writing, this badge is still claimable, making it one of the most attractive options for newcomers looking to combine DeFi and XP: Aborean Tutorial

Here as well, the right mindset is global strategy: your position's profitability comes from fees, potential reward tokens… and the XP you accumulate each week.

Streaming: Turning Your Farm into Content

Another way to massively boost your XP while building your personal brand is streaming on the Abstract portal.

Since the introduction of Perks, streaming access is no longer limited to a select few. Anyone who reaches at least the Gold Tier can now apply for a slot. You livestream your @MoodyMights, Roach Racing, Gigaverse, or DeFi exploration sessions, interact with the chat… and Abstract rewards you for the time you spend animating the scene.

Regular streamers often say they don't know exactly how much XP each hour of streaming gives them, but they notice one clear reality: their progression curves accelerate as soon as they start streaming several evenings per week. Some eventually earn prestigious roles like Giga Chad, or ambassador statuses for games and dApps, which further boosts their XP gains.

The most common advice is simple: choose a format you genuinely enjoy, talk with your audience, collaborate with other streamers, accept feedback to improve, and above all, avoid burnout. Three fun, well-prepared streams are better than forcing five hours a day for a whole week.

Badges: Small Icons with Heavy Weight

Badges are often seen as purely cosmetic. In reality, they're at the core of Abstract's reward system.

There are several categories. First, basic badges, earned by connecting your Discord and X accounts to your AGW, making your first transactions, or interacting with the portal. Then, Flash Badges, which are time-limited and tied to specific campaigns, such as the Aborean LP badge linked to your first liquidity provision on Aborean. Finally, Secret Badges, which have no public checklist, require you to do something cool, creative, or hard to guess.

Among these secrets are badges like The Threadoor, rewarding long-form content about Abstract (threads, articles, etc.), or Clippy, for clipping and sharing the best moments from Abstract streams. Others are more usage-oriented: becoming Gacha Goat by opening hundreds of cards in Gacha, earning Myriad Grand Master by trading a certain volume on Myriad Markets, or unlocking The Sock Master by owning the mythical Abstract Socks. There's even a "You're So Early" badge for users who joined the waitlist before the mainnet launch.

Conclusion: A Concrete Strategy for Someone Joining Today

If you're joining Abstract now and want to position yourself for a future airdrop without dedicating your entire life to it, you can follow a simple framework.

First, create your Abstract Global Wallet on portal.abs.xyz and take time to understand the interface: Wallet tab, Rewards tab, access to dApps and campaigns. Next, choose two or three strong focus areas that suit you. For example: a game you genuinely want to grind, a reasonable DeFi position on Kona or Aborean, and one or two long-term assets to hold a $PENGU bag plus an NFT collection you believe in.

At the same time, join the Abstract Discord, verify your holdings to claim the roles you're eligible for, and stay at least minimally active: share content, ask questions, help newcomers. Keep an eye on current badges, especially active flash ones like Aborean LP, and try to unlock several without turning into a compulsive badge hunter.

A realistic goal for the first few weeks is to reach the Gold Tier. From there, you can consider streaming if you want to go further: turn your farming into content, build an audience, and become visible for high-multiplier roles. Every Tuesday, monitor your XP total, observe what works best for you, and adjust. If a game doesn't appeal to you or doesn't pay off, switch playgrounds Abstract is rich enough for you to find what truly fits you.
