Kabu is an NFT project operating on the Abstract blockchain, aiming to establish an international entertainment brand. The project focuses on community building, offering a unique collection of 4'444 NFTs featuring vibrant bear characters.

Vision and Mission

The project’s primary focus is to ensure that its characters and branding remain at the forefront, creating a cohesive universe that integrates lifestyle and art. Kabu envisions making the brand accessible through animated short-form content on social media and personalized physical products.

The Kabu NFT Collection

Kabu’s soul lies in its NFT collection, initially set at 7,000, now refined to 4,444 unique bear characters affectionately dubbed “Cubs,” a playful nod to the Japanese word Kabu. These NFTs are more than digital collectibles; they represent an identity for those who build and deliver within the Web3 space. Each bear is designed to be cute, memeable, and full of personality, making them the perfect avatars for creators and innovators.

Team Behind Kabu

Kabu is powered by a trio of seasoned professionals:

  • Joe Compitello (@Sols): A marketing expert with a robust background in social media and the crypto industry. Joe founded ‘3Net’, achieving significant success in NFT sales from 2021 to 2023. 

  • Josh Chapman (@Nftguyy):With expertise in social media marketing, Josh has orchestrated impactful campaigns within the Web3 space since 2019. He co-founded Kabu to connect brands and communities through innovative digital strategies. 

  • Lloyd (@LYDART): Serving as the Art Director, Lloyd brings extensive experience in animation, including work on Disney’s “DuckTales.” He leads Kabu’s creative direction, ensuring a cohesive and engaging visual identity.

Future Goals

Looking ahead, Kabu plans to expand beyond the digital realm by introducing physical products and mainstream content. The goal is to create an immersive universe where individuals can engage with Kabu’s characters through various mediums, from social media animations to tangible merchandise.
